Why is it important?

The sustainability of products is often overlooked as a significant part of value, this research shows that if this route is taken it will loose brand impact and values

Perspectives

This publication started a movement and changed actions in the food sector I am incredibly proud to be part of. We started by showing the use of frozen food resulted in nearly halving domestic food waste, this has big implications for food security and sustainability. Many organisations overlooked this, they do not do this now. Working with Birdseye and Iglo Foods has been incredibly valuable and I believe food companies like these have a high impact role in responding to the food security challenges facing us. There are still challenges but peer review and transparency are import tools in communicating sustainability practice.
