What is it about?
The Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) programme is a contemporary and voluntary practice adopted by Australian companies to disclose their commitment to national reconciliation. This analysis of RAPs reveals organizational initiatives to support Indigenous Australians' pathway to corporate leadership and community leadership. Two initiatives for Indigenous Australians to pursue corporate leadership positions are evident: emerging future leaders’ programs and mentoring programs. While some firms have implemented these initiatives with specific targets, other firms do not have specific initiatives or targets.
