What is it about?

The Australian Synchrotron runs several state of the art research instruments. The most productive of all so far is the MX2 beamline where a laser beam of X-rays can be used to probe matter and elucidate of its structure. This paper describes the technical components of this beamline as well as some of its highlights and future developments.
