Why is it important?
The study has successfully proposed a novel, low-cost biomass gasifier without any power requirements for producing quality biochar from elephant grass for multiple applications. The yield of biochar was comparatively excellent, and the ease of use and no power requirement make it acceptable for rural applications in developing countries.
