What is it about?
Drugs that are used in the hospitals to treat cancer have serious side effects. They affect cancer patients and make them feel uncomfortable. These drugs affect healthy organs like the liver, kidney and testis. Researchers are now looking for simple supplement or substance that can prevent the side effects of cancer drugs. In our study here, we found that intake of zinc prevents side effect of tamoxifen used in the treatment of breast cancer in rats. It is important that our study be tested in breast cancer patients as well.

Perspectives
Drugs used in cancer treatment should not cause injury to other healthy organs. It is good to get some agent that can be used with these drugs to prevent their injury on normal healthy organs.
