What is it about?
Probabilistic reasoning is challenging. We looked at improving learning from texts with diagrams and if answering questions would also be helpful. We found that diagrams were helpful, but answering questions seemed to make the lesson too difficult and interfere with learning.

Why is it important?
Answering questions while reading is generally considered a good technique. These findings show that this technique isn't always helpful. Also, frequency tree diagrams can help with learning about probability.
