Why is it important?
It provides examples from the legislation and real practices to challenge the idea that only Persian is the main language for communication between Persian and non-Persian speaking individuals in Iran. The paper inspired further research (one PhD student is currently working on the issue).
Perspectives
This was a new area of research for me. The topic was highly politicized but evidence enabled me to shed some light on the topic.
