What is it about?

This is review of the book devoted by M.M. Kennedy to the type of language used by young Jamaican speakers who speak Patwa as L1 and are in the course of learning Jamaican English. The book provides a survey of the grammatical features (NP and VP) found in the creole and English speech of pre-school Jamaican children.
