What is it about?
The book addresses form miming meaning, iconicity, from a range of different disciplinary perspectives, incl. literary studies, cognitive literary studies, linguistics, media theory. Various "dimensions" are considered: phonic, cognitive, multimodal, performative, and new dimensions, including notational iconicity, the interplay of iconicity, ambiguity, interpretability, and the iconicity of literary analysis from a formal semanticist point of view.
