What is it about?
This first extensive study of the linguistic encoding of emotions in a minority language is based on first-hand data collected among Dalabon speakers (Australia). The monograph analyzes how Dalabon speakers express emotions using words, metaphors, evaluative morphology, interjections, or prosodic features.
