What is it about?
In Dutch, there are a few grammatical rules that are often violated in very specific ways. Some people claim to be disgusted by these violations, while others use them every day. Moreover, the violations are generally deemed ugly and are often associated with low education. In this experiment, we investigated how people subconsciously process these constructions. We also checked whether the age and education level made a difference in processing.
