Given the the clinical utility of ErbB2 targeted therapies identifying patient that express this isoform opens up potential therapeutic interventions.
Perspectives
Aside from identifying the erbB2 splice isoform as a oncogenic driver, this publication has linked expression of the erbB2 pro-oncogene to lung inflammatory disease
