This article demonstrates that measurement-based care (MBC) enables a structure and process to translate multicultural guidelines into actionable therapist behaviors to address diversity, marginalization, and clinician-client differences.

Why is it important?
While one measurement based care system with a heritage of client privilege and social justice was offered as an illustration of cultural responsiveness, other client feedback systems can similarly begin to contextualize their outcome measures beyond symptoms to address oppression as well as include alliance measures to encourage discussion of therapist-client differences.
