Defining the "state of the art" of a topic is important for researchers for understanding where we are and where we need to go to and how.
Perspectives
I hope this article highlights the importance of doing qualitative research with children (and not only about them) dealing with palliative care needs and life-limiting conditions. Moreover, I hope that researchers will take the conclusions as starting point for new research.
