What is it about?
Hashimoto's thyroiditis is the most common cause of hypothyroidism and the most frequent thyroid disease. It is usually diagnosed by autoantibodies. However, other kinds of autoimmune thyroiditis are possible. In this study, we propose a comprehensive score to classify Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

A scoring system has a better performance than any single predictor and is able to identify the subgroup of individuals at higher risk to develop subsequent hypothyroidism.
