Why is it important?

The need for replication studies in education research is not a new idea. Editorials like this one, and others, may provide researchers with published support for them to conduct such studies, and for funding agencies to consider funding replication work.

Perspectives

We need more researchers to actually conduct this type of research. Also, in the Educational Technology community we need to decide what areas of research should be prioritized for replication studies.
