What is it about?

Sustainability is seen as a paradigm for thinking about the future, where environmental, social, and economic aspects are balanced in the pursuit of a better quality of life. It stresses intergenerational equality, gender equality, social tolerance, poverty alleviation, environmental protection and restoration, conservation of natural resources, and building just and peaceful societies.

Why is it important?
