A book chapter that discusses and lists different sources including databases, crowdsourcing efforts etc. that are relevant to chemistry.

Why is it important?

When it was written in 2010 many of these efforts were nascent, even the thought of blogging on chemistry was pretty fresh, and open science ideas were relatively recent. This chapter represents and early effort to reconcile the technologies with the need for collaboration.
