What is it about?

A classroom comparison of TBLT and PPP over an academic year in a Japanese university. Students were compared on growth in self-efficacy and proficiency. Although both groups improved, the patterns of growth were different. Reasons for this are explored.

There is very little research actually comparing the two approaches in the classroom. Teachers need to know which is best for their students.
