Why is it important?
Active Clamp Flyback (ACF) and Interleaved Active Clamp (IACF) converters are designed and simulated for the use of DC-DC converters of PV system applications. Two control systems are used to control the output voltage of the DC-DC converters for various PV conditions, which are PID (proportional integral derivatives) and FLC (fuzzy logic controller). MATLAB/SIMULINK is used to model and simulate the proposed system, where the proposed control systems are developed to regulate the output voltage for the load requirements.
