Why is it important?

Uganda is one of the countries with endemic hepatitis B infection. Its infection among pregnant women puts them at higher risk.

Perspectives

Despite the reported high prevalence among pregnant women in other regions of uganda, our finding showed a low prevalence in South Western Uganda.
