What is it about?
Alcohol is a readily acceptable worldwide beverage with sometimes consumption patterns unchecked. The study indicated that the active chemical is indeed ethanol and acute levels of alcohol administration indicated selective organ damage.

Why is it important?
The importance of this study shows that even acute consumption of alcohol could have lethal consequences. Apart from the apparent drunken states which dissipates over time, organ damage is not readily seen unless it accumulates. This study indicates warning especially to the youth of our time.
