What is it about?
We present a visualisation tool called Omnigram Explorer, which helps in understanding interactions and cause and effects in complex systems. When fed data about the behaviour of a given system, it allows the user to interactively adjust one or more of the inputs and see how the outputs are affected. By using principles from human visual perception, it allows the user the gain a quick intuitive feeling of interactions in systems with many dozens of inputs. Several different modes of visualisation are available, which allow the user to investigate different aspects of the system's behaviour.
