What is it about?
This paper shows that we can improve the in vivo brain delivery of peptides and a protein using BBB modulatory peptides. The depositions of delivered molecules in the brains were detected using various methods, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), near IR fluorescence (NIRF), and mass spectrometry (MS).

Why is it important?
This is important because previously the delivery of peptides and proteins into the brain is very difficult. This work will open many opportunities to deliver peptides and proteins to the brain as therapeutic and diagnostic agents for brain diseases.
