What is it about?
The text presents research on the feminization of poverty in the city of Castellón de la Plana in 2019. It comprises two parts: a quantitative one that includes data on statistics of women in vulnerable situations, and a qualitative part in which interviews were conducted with professionals and women who are in or at risk of poverty. Given the current crisis caused by the Coronavirus, many of its data may have become outdated due to the intervention of the pandemic and its health, economic, and social consequences, which have likely exacerbated the pre-existing vulnerability situation.
