What is it about?

Catholics can draw on a rich theology of peacemaking in Scripture, Tradition, and Church teaching to welcome sisters and brothers with impairments in our parishes and dioceses.

Why is it important?

The practices of just peace can guide us in better welcoming those on the margins, including children and adults with physical and/or intellectual impairments who are vulnerable to dehumanization.

Perspectives

Writing this article helped me to draw together two of my theological interests; peacemaking, and ministry to and with fellow Christians with impairments.
