Why is it important?

This is important because it points to a more specific treatment of a serious, sometimes fatal, condition that occurs after a variety of trauma where there is no current specific treatment

Perspectives

This comes after more than 10 years of my work and is a comprehensive review that should lead from laboratory research to the bedside with beneficial results.
