What is it about?
The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the multicriteria decisions making support methodology widely recognized and accepted as the prioritization and choice theory may deliver different answers for a decisional problem, providing various rankings of its alternative solutions. The variety in priorities order exists because there are many methods that can be successfully implemented within the AHP, although its inventor, Thomas Saaty strives to convince researchers that there is only one.

Why is it important?
Statistically significant findings convince that REV concedes other methods being under study what authorize to claim that from the perspective of this research, as long as reciprocal pairwise comparison matrices are considered (condition embedded in the AHP), it should not be perceived as the dominant method.
