What is it about?
The aim of this study was to assess any bone apposition in the mandibular angle in a group of adult patients diagnosed with bruxism using digital panoramic radiographs.

Why is it important?
In addition to clinical examination, radiologically diagnosed bone apposition may serve as an extra diagnostic indicator of bruxism. Moreover, since such morphological changes take long time to develop, they may provide an indication about the presence of bruxism and its duration.
