What is it about?
Patients with chronic Strongyloides infections are at risk for bacterial infections. The worm may transport intestinal bacteria through many body sites (including the central nervous system). We report a case of Enterococcus faecalis meningits in a Bangladesh patient with chronic strongyloidiasis.
