What is it about?
In remote parts of Indonesia, having enough healthcare workers is a challenge. This paper discusses a plan to encourage and keep healthcare workers in these areas by offering incentives, not just money but other benefits too. We found that it's not just about paying more; it's also about creating a supportive work environment and involving local leaders. We believe this approach can help improve healthcare in these remote regions.

Why is it important?
Our work addresses a pressing issue in Indonesia: the shortage of healthcare workers in remote areas. What sets our study apart is our focus on a comprehensive incentive scheme that goes beyond just financial rewards. We believe this approach is timely because it recognizes that retaining and motivating healthcare workers involves more than just salary increases. By highlighting the importance of a supportive work environment and the role of local leadership, our research offers a unique perspective that could make a significant difference in addressing this healthcare challenge. Readers interested in innovative solutions to healthcare workforce issues will find our study valuable.
