Why is it important?
Moulds are responsible for postharvest spoilage of citrus fruits. This study will help in understanding postharvest behavior of mold on lime fruits, host-pathogen interaction, environmental conditions infecting fruit, and guidelines for future work in the predictive mycology field to improve models in order to control postharvest fungi.
