Why is it important?

Given that healthcare professionals are at the frontline to fight against diseases, their health at work should be of priority. Reducing the rate of absenteism, presenteism and improving the quality of healthcare services is very important. Knowing the prevalence is going to help us to know if WRMSDs is actually a major public health problem in our context and around the world, thereby pushing researchers to look for solutions.

Perspectives

We will increase our sample size in future research and equally use a prospective design.
