Carbonfeel is a collaborative initiative focused on providing methodological and technological solutions to the processes of calculation, verification, certification and labeling of the Carbon Footprint (CF).

Why is it important?
This article describes a mixed approach to the carbon footprint calculation (MC3 methodology) which alows for calculating the Carbon Footprint of organizations and their products, developing solutions for sharing information on the CF among all the participants in a supply chain.
Perspectives
The current interest in the carbon footprint has given rise to a variety of calculation methodologies which are leading to confusion, hesitation and uncertainty. This article includes a proposal of an integrated approach for carbon footprinting, which avoids some problems of integrating product and organizational carbon footprints.
