Why is it important?
Limited Knowledge on how our actions impact on the environment especially in the case of the Keta Lagoon in Ghana drove the need in conducting this study. Ghana as a country has been engulfed with several waste management and behavioral problems. This eventually has resulted in pollution of most water bodies both directly and indirectly. This study therefore highlights impacts of waste on the lagoon and livelihoods as well as need for urgent action.
