What is it about?
The amnis flow cytometry captures images of each cell analysed. The software provided can also attempt to document cell regularity etc. Here we compare the outcome of manual vs automatic measurements based on the software linked to the imaging platform.

Why is it important?
Flow cytometry is a critical method for assessment and analysis of cell types in biological samples, however, imaging of the cells help to further increase the reliability of results, since debris and other particles may be counted automatically in the absence of evaluation of the particle size, shape and intracellular location of the immunofluorescence staining.
