Barium carbonate influence in some iron-based friction materials

What is it about?

The paper presents the influence of adding barium carbonate in the composition of some iron-based friction composites. The materials were obtained by powder metallurgy technique. Once the samples were elaborated, they were characterised from the structural and tribological point of view. The results pointed out barium carbonate influence on the tribological properties of the elaborated materials.
