What is it about?
Lipopeptides from the surfactin family are very potent biosurfactants, with important applications for environmental remediation and chemical industries. In the present work, the complex production of lipids (mainly surfactins) by Bacillus velezensis 0G was evaluated under different growth conditions, using the 2^3 factorial design with central and axial points. All experiments were carried out based on sustainable submerged fermentation containing sweet potato peels.
