In a context of crisis and the redefinition of social policies and institutional welfare state structures in Europe and the United States, it is essential to explore changing trends in social work, an area that is key to the sustainability of social welfare.

Perspectives

We hope that the results presented in this monograph will provide relevant information for redefining and improving our social protection systems and contribute to the development of social work and social services in Spain and the United States by promoting academic exchange and strengthening the academic research community of both countries.
