This finding explains that to overcome and keep the children healthy, probiotic supplementation of Lactobacillus plantarum IS 10506, indigenous probiotic from West Sumatra Indonesia, was an alternative solution in children under two years. This probiotic proved an increase in immune response as an underlying basic mechanism in the micro-ecosystem in the gut.
