In this paper, multi-objective optimization of RC moment resisting frame structures considering two objective functions of cost and displacement are introduced and examined.

Why is it important?
In the literature, multi-objective optimal design of RC frames has not investigated. The results indicate smooth Pareto-fronts and prove the speed and accuracy of the method.
Perspectives
The efficiency of the NSGA-II has been shown by testing the examples.
