Various milling parameters of planetary ball milling assisted synthesis were studied.

Why is it important?
Our findings demonstrated that the most important milling parameter is the rotation speed. Although the milling media is also affecting the length of run this effet becomes more important when complexation occurs - owing to the more limited diffusion of the reagent(s) - the longer milling times can result in lower yields.
Perspectives
Optimization of milling parameters, which is a multivariable task, can improve the efficiency of mechanochemical reactions.
