Due to geopolitical and historical circumstances, religious organizations in Latvia have experienced significant shifts, which have influenced the relationship between the state and the religious organizations.
Perspectives
Today the state is separate from the Church in the Republic of Latvia, and state institutions don’t have a right to interfere in the religious activities of religious organizations.
