Applying a Digital Twin Approach for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

What is it about?

ME/CSF are rare conditions, and as a result the lack of detailed medical records and of high numbers of medical records, make the discovery of biomarkers that would predict disease progression very challenging. Two computational methods (digital twin and synthetic data) have the potential to address these two challenges, at least in part. The potential implementations are discussed in the manuscript.
