What is it about?
The Indonesian government initiated the QRIS cashless payment system. This study examined whether government support contributes to its adoption by Indonesians. We found that government support improves user trust and mitigates perceived risk, increasing the user's intention to adopt the cashless payment system.

Why is it important?
It connects public policy with marketing, especially in the citizen's adoption of government initiatives such as the cashless payment movement. Government support is an important asset to consumer trust and intention to adopt the system.
Perspectives
This paper is written from the thesis of my postgrad student, Ajeng, whom I am very proud of. She is the first author and main contributor to the study. She demonstrated her research prowess in this paper and her thesis, obtaining the best possible score from her examiner.
