What is it about?

The definition of adequacy in peritoneal dialysis is changing and more recent ISPD guidelines have suggested that urea Kt/V should not be the standalone marker of adequacy for this therapy. This is a multi-center study that provides data on the value of adding creatinine clearance as another marker of adequacy, particularly as it relates to maintenance of adequate serum phosphorus levels in peritoneal dialysis patients.
