What is it about?
This editorial highlights new finding in a study from France on assisted peritoneal dialysis. The study found assisted PD patients were at higher risk for transfer to hemodialysis early after starting but lower risk by six months of therapy. The study suggests assisted PD should be provided for at least six months to realized benefits.
