What is it about?
Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common complication in pediatric patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), with a reported prevalence ranging from 68-84%. Few multicenter pediatric studies comprehensively assess the epidemiologic associations and clinical outcomes associated with AKI development. _x000D_ _x000D_ Here, in a multicenter retrospective cohort study of 5,168 pediatric patients, we assess the incidence, mortality risk, clinical outcomes, and dialysis dependence associated with HSCT-induced AKI.
