Why is it important?

A high number of pregnant and delivering women die or suffer serious health problems in the developing world. Many newborns and infants also die or suffer from complications. Much of these health problems can be avoided or reduced if help is given in time.

Perspectives

Mobile health is becoming increasingly important both in the developed and developing world.
