Why is it important?
The paper gives overview on Dievturība, a reconstructed form of paganism, which laid claim to the status of an indigenous religious tradition in Latvia.
Perspectives
The newest tendencies show that in Latvia too, paganism follows a similar trajectory as Anglo-American paganism, respectively, it is gaining New Age features: esoteric terminology and a self-reflexive nature is also entering pagan discourse.
